The 1st necessary for having the ability to use affirmations successfully is to have goals which aren’t only well outlined, but which are backed by a real and sincere need. This is not a game, where you can simply dream up something you want, programme the inner PC, and expect to get it. Unless the component of real want is present, you will falter when you come up against the inevitable obstacles which you encounter along the way. If your desire is strong enough, the obstacles can be overcome.

It is also crucial to consider money affirmations as blocks which you need to build on a solid foundation. That foundation is a mental state of high self-esteem and self-worth. If you do not really hold a high esteem for yourself at the center of your being, your search for material wealth is probably going to flounder. Whether or not you can make short term gains, you’ll find yourself unable to hold on to them, often for reasons which are hard to explain on the surface.

Get your self-confidence right first, and you’ll have constructed a foundation which will allow for the easy application of wealth affirmations. Even this is no guarantee that you will succeed, as life gives no such guarantees, it will raise your possibilities to the highest possible level. The mind, that has already been convinced of your worth as a human being, will now readily accept that you merit material wealth and a life of success. Back this psychological state up with consistent, directed action, and you will have an excellent chance of attaining all that you desire.

Abundance affirmations need to be recited in a way which comforts the mind, rather than excites it. The primary consideration is the attracting of abundance, the allowing of it to come to you. Psychologically at least, there should be a consideration of movement of the target towards you, instead of you always having to go after it. It is necessary to realize nevertheless, that you need to put in the physical effort to bring your needs to completion. Get each part of your being working in the same direction, and you’ll have each likelihood of succeeding with success affirmations.

Now that you’ve identified one of your money messages that does not serve you in your desire and journey of attracting abundance, it’s time to change things up. How do you turn them from a negative message into a positive one? You create a positive statement or affirmation by going 180 degrees away. To change “money doesn’t grow on trees” you could write: a never-ending stream of money flows into my bank account. The choices are plentiful.

Your new money messages must be clear, concise, positive statements that are worded in the present tense. Borrowing someone else’s money message will work; however, the best money messages are ones that you create for yourself.

The next step is making the new money message a part of your reality. Use it as an affirmation, saying it throughout your day. At first the new message might feel awkward and uncomfortable…as if you’re making it up. With time and conviction you will begin to believe what you are affirming.

You can also write the affirmations as a daily exercise to enhance your results. You want to create success through baby steps instead of trying to change your entire life in a day or a week by writing affirmations to change every possible detail that’s not working. Be easy on yourself by choosing only 1 or 2 affirmations to focus on. Write each one 10 – 20 times per day. To form a new vibrational match, do this exercise for 30 days. If you skip a day of writing then start again. The object is to write for 30 consecutive days. Experiment with it. After thirty days evaluate what worked and what didn’t. Tweak it and play and evaluate again. Remember this is a a journey. Although the destination is the goal, have fun on the trip! Make it joyful.
