The thinking isn’t new. With positive thinking and faith, you can amass wealth of any sort.

“Think and Grow Rich”, a seminal book by Napoleon Hill, outlines the basics of making wealth a reality in your life.In this book average folks, folks in dire straights financially and personally, tell their stories of how they were able to achieve great wealth in many forms with persistence and the power of positive thinking.

To manifest wealth in one’s life, Hill guides us with some basic principles:

Developing a Burning Desire for Riches – This is not to mean that you can just sit around hoping. You must develop a desire that is all-consuming. This is the crux of realizing wealth of all kinds in your life.If anything, Hill is definitely specific. What kind of wealth do you want? How much do you want? In what time frame? How do you plan to go about it? He wants you to list answers to each of those questions. When you’ve come up with the answers to those questions and have made  your list, Hill wants you to read them aloud to yourself twice a day to instill these thoughts into the deepest recesses of your mind.

Develop Faith in Your Ability at Manifesting Wealth –  There is a great saying, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”FAITH! Faith is what Hill says you must have. To get the financially fecund life that you desire, you must have the deepest of feelings that it is coming to you.The universe is at your service, Hill asserts. It will grant you everything that you desire. That is the thinking meant to evolve by reading your list twice a day.

Act with Persistence Toward Your Goal – The third step in Hill’s plan of action calls for just that – action – persistent action toward your desired outcome.

I’ve seen that there are losers and there are winners. The losers sit around wishing. The winners don’t sit around – they act.Effortless, easy, that’s what action will feel like once you have developed a burning desire and absolute faith that you will have financial rewards.

In spite of 10,000 failures, Thomas Edison persisted until his idea became a reality – he knew it would happen.Look at him this way: Step One – he had a strong desire to create a source of light. He believed in himself – Step Two. Step Three – he kept plodding along in the face of many failures until he got to where he knew he could go.

“I think therefore I am.” Hills procedure is perhaps derived from that old saying. Once you are focused completely, if your faith in yourself is true, if you become full of determination, your goal will become a reality.
